Municipal Boards and Committees

The existence of these various bodies is provided for in the Township’s General Code of Ordinances. The committees are supported in their work by township employees who provide assistance with meeting space, agendas, minutes, and public information. The governing body designates a Council Liaison to each group to ensure that there is communication and coordination among the boards, commissions, and committees with respect to borough policies and initiatives. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas for the meetings will be posted on the website on the day of the meeting. If the agenda is not online, it will be available at the Municipal Building before the meeting begins.

Board of Health

April 4 and October 3, 5 p.m. at the Municipal Building

Sussex County Department of Health website

Free Rabies Clinic will be held on December 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Land Use Board

The Land Use Board holds meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Open Space Committee

The Open Space Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings are held at the Municipal Building.

Township Committee

The Township Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. to conduct regular business. Meetings are held at the Municipal Building and we welcome the attendance and participation of the public.
