Food
Benny's Bodega
Benny's Bodega serves Sussex County and the immediate area. Their mission is to be a community hub pioneering support for A.L.I.C.E. (Asset. Limited. Income. Constrained. Employed.) senior, and veteran populations. The Bodega offers a unique freedom to shop and select basic needs items free of charge in a warm and friendly environment. See Benny's Bodega Website.
Harvest House Food Pantry
Harvest House is a division of SCARC. There are two locations: Hamburg and Hampton. See Harvest House Food Pantry Flyer.
Grants
We often receive inquiries as to any loan or grant programs "out there" for very-low-income or elderly residents to repair their homes, remove health and safety hazards. Enter in the Section 504 Home Repair Program from the USDA. Although the Federal Government is in the midst of a shutdown, the information below could be of assistance to some of our residents once they re-open. Remember, this is not a Township program so you must direct all questions to the USDA once they re-open. The website provided by the USDA is up and running and quite user friendly in the meantime. Assistance Available for Veterans Facing Housing Crisis
