NEW OPEN PUBLIC RECORDS ACT (OPRA) law in effect on September 3, 2024.

S2930 is AN ACT concerning access to government records, amending and supplementing various parts of the statutory law, and making an appropriation which was enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey.

Failure to complete the form in full may result in the denial of your request.

Commercial entities will be required to certify to the commercial use of requested records upon submission of the OPRA request. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(f).

• Intentional failure to certify results in a civil penalty as outlined in N.J.S.A. 47:1A-11.
